Must be able to type 35 wpm with accuracy, have good organizational skills, excellent communication skills and effective written skills. Computer literate with the following software: Excel, Microsoft Office and Power Point. Ability to take accurate notes and minutes of all Union meetings, negotiations, conferences and transcribe for permanent and legal records. Maintains confidentiality of department information. Presents a
positive image to the public and takes responsibility for identifying, communicating and generating solutions to problems related to the smooth running of the office, answer phones and acts as a receptionist when needed.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; may include nights, holidays and weekends. Uses judgment in carrying out assignments with minimum supervision. Sets up and maintains files, writes correspondences and Special Bulletins. Should be knowledgeable of State and Federal laws pertaining to Unions.
The selection process will be as follows:
Members must submit I.) Resume and 2) Cover letter to the Executive Board.
Members will be scheduled for an interview with President, Vice-President, Treasurer and selected members of the Executive Board Chairs.

**Per Local 250A By-laws, Article VII, Vacancies, Seaion 2, "In the event that a vacancy occurs in the office of Executive Vice-President, Financial Secretary-Treasurer, or Recording Secretary between eleaions, the Local Executive Board shall appoint one of its members to fill the position for the unexpired term. If no member of the Executive Board accepts the vacant Position, the President shall have the authority to appoint from among the membership, subject to the approval of the Local Executive Board."
